Factorio server hosting
Build sprawling factories with friends on your own dedicated Factorio server. Starts free, no card - just create it and share the address.
Free to start, online in ~60s.
Plans that run Factorio
What is a Factorio dedicated server?
Factorio's dedicated (headless) server runs the game world independently of any one player's game client, so your factory keeps existing whether or not you're the one who spun it up. Everyone connects to the same persistent world and builds together.
It's a different game from our Minecraft types - there's no Java Edition client here. Players connect with the regular Factorio game using the server address and port shown in your panel.
Why host Factorio with Crafty Servers?
Runs on the free plan
Factorio is light on resources - it fits comfortably in the free tier for you and a few friends.
Zero configuration
Create the server, share the address and port, and start building - no setup beyond that.
File access on any plan
Manage saves and mods over SFTP or the file manager on every tier. Paid plans add the full Pterodactyl panel; the free plan's panel is more limited.
Not a Minecraft add-on
A real, separate Factorio installation with its own panel - not a mod or a mode inside another game.
Frequently asked questions
Is the free Factorio server really free?
Yes - Factorio runs comfortably on the free plan, no card needed.
What do my friends need to join?
The regular Factorio game (from Steam or the official site) and the address and port shown on your dashboard - no separate launcher or account.
Can I install mods?
Yes - upload mod zips to the server's mods folder over SFTP or the file manager (available on every plan), matching the mod versions your players have installed in their own game.
Can I bring an existing save?
Yes - upload your save file over SFTP or the file manager and point the server at it from the console.
