What is DeceasedCraft?

DeceasedCraft is a modern urban zombie-apocalypse survival pack built on Forge and Minecraft 1.20.1, with around 234 mods. You scavenge ruined cities for supplies, fight off escalating hordes, and hole up to build and defend a base. It leans hard into gritty, tense co-op survival - Timeless & Classics style firearms, drivable vehicles to cover ground, and custom NPC survivors and traders who make the ruined world feel lived-in.

Like all our one-click packs, the server installs a pinned, known-good version of DeceasedCraft on creation, so the modlist on the server matches what your players get from the CurseForge app.

Frequently asked questions

Which plan do I need for DeceasedCraft?

DeceasedCraft needs at least 6 GB of RAM, so it runs on the paid plans - the plan strip on this page shows which ones qualify and what they cost.

What do my players need to join?

Players install DeceasedCraft through the CurseForge app and connect with your server address. Everyone needs the same pack version, which is the pinned one your server runs.

Is DeceasedCraft a co-op or PvP pack?

It is built for co-op survival - you and your friends scavenge cities, fight hordes and defend a shared base together. You can still run it PvP if you want the extra tension, but the pack's heart is holding out against the zombies as a team.

Can I switch my server to a different modpack later?

Each server is created with one type. To change packs, create a new server on the type you want - paid plans can be resized, and our biggest plan runs two servers side by side.
